    I'm honored to announce that I have been awarded the prestigious Ibn Battuta Prize for Travel Literature (2024-25) in the Translation category by the Arab Center for Geographical Literature "Irtiyad al-Afaq"

    My translation of Constantin François Volney's seminal work "Voyage en Égypte et en Syrie 1783, 1784 et 1785" was selected among numerous submissions from across the Arab world.
    This recognition reflects the importance of building bridges between cultures through translation and preserving historical travel narratives.
